Business Website That Converts

A fast, mobile-first site that turns visitors into enquiries — and that you can edit yourself.

This is an example build. Tavzuran is a new studio with no client work to show yet. This page describes how the project would be scoped and built — the same thinking you would get on a real one. Nothing here is a past client, and no number on this page is a result.

The price follows the feature list. The number above buys everything scoped on this page. Take features out and it comes down — the shortest route to a smaller number is a shorter list, and deciding what to drop is what the free call is for.

THE SITUATION

What's actually broken.

A local business has a website built years ago on a page builder. It is slow, it looks wrong on a phone, and it produces almost no enquiries. Most of its visitors arrive from Instagram, look at it on mobile data, and leave before it finishes loading.

This is the cheapest project on this list and often the highest return, because the traffic already exists. The work is in speed, in saying one clear thing, and in making the next step obvious.

  • The current site takes eight seconds to load on mobile data

  • Enquiries arrive as email nobody checks on weekends

  • Nothing on the page says what to do next

  • Editing an address means calling whoever built it

VERSION ONE

What we'd build first.

Every item here earns its place by being something a real user would miss on day one.

Fast on a phone, on mobile data

The whole page under a few hundred kilobytes, images sized properly, no framework shipped to a visitor who only needs to read.

One clear message and one next step

What you do, who for, and what to click. Most small-business sites fail at this before they fail at anything technical.

Enquiry capture that reaches a human

A short form plus a WhatsApp and call button, with each enquiry landing somewhere someone actually looks.

Findable on Google

Real HTML, correct headings, a sitemap, and a Google Business Profile that matches the site.

Editable by you

The handful of things that change — hours, prices, photos, offers — editable without a developer.

DELIBERATELY NOT IN V1

What we'd leave out.

Not because these are bad ideas. Because each one is designed better once the first version has told you something.

  • A blog, unless someone has genuinely committed to writing it. An empty blog dated two years ago is worse than none.
  • Online payments, until there is something to sell online.
  • A carousel on the homepage. Nobody sees slide two.

UNDER THE HOOD

How it's put together.

Site
Static HTML and CSS, or Astro if there are more than a dozen pages — no server to be slow
Hosting
A CDN, which is free or nearly free at this size
Forms
A form service or a small serverless endpoint; a static site needs no database for this
Images
Compressed and served in modern formats, sized per device

HOW IT RUNS

Week by week.

  1. 01

    Week 1

What the site has to say, and to whom. Copy first, design after — the other order produces pretty nonsense.

  2. 02

    Weeks 2–4

    Design and build.

  3. 03

    Weeks 5–6

    Content, Google setup, and live.

THE HARD PART

Saying one thing

Every build has one problem that decides whether the rest of it matters. This is that problem, written out.

The engineering here is genuinely easy. The hard part is the part most people want to skip: deciding what the page says.

Almost every small-business site fails the same way. It tries to say everything — every service, every audience, every reassurance — and a visitor who arrives from Instagram with fifteen seconds of patience reads none of it. A page that says one thing clearly outperforms a page that says nine things completely, and the gap is not small.

Which is why week one is copy, not design, and why it is a conversation rather than a form. What you actually do, who you do it for, why someone would pick you, and what you want them to do next. Design after that is comparatively mechanical. Doing it in the other order produces something attractive that does not work.

BEFORE A PRICE EXISTS

What we'd ask you first.

A quote given without these answers is a guess. These are the questions that actually move the number.

  1. 01Where does your traffic come from — Instagram, Google, word of mouth?
  2. 02What is the single action you want a visitor to take?
  3. 03Who answers enquiries, and how quickly can they realistically reply?
  4. 04What changes often enough that you need to edit it yourself?
  5. 05Do you already own the domain, and is there analytics on the current site?

AFTERWARDS

How we'd know it worked.

Agreed before the build starts, so there is something to judge it against other than whether it looks nice.

  • The page is usable in under two seconds on a mid-range phone on mobile data.
  • Enquiries increase from the same traffic — the traffic already exists.
  • Every enquiry is answered within one working day.
  • You changed the hours or a price yourself, without calling anyone.

BEFORE YOU START

Worth knowing.

A website only earns its keep if the enquiries reach someone. Decide before launch who answers them and how fast — that decision affects the results more than any design choice here.

Websites and apps start at ₹20,000*. Final pricing depends on features and project scope. Third-party costs — cloud hosting, domains, external libraries, APIs, app-store fees and any other paid service — are billed separately and are not included.
